Such a perfect little bite to eat – these little bites of loveliness are just right whether they’re a snack for hungry hoards after school or gracing the table at an afternoon tea.
7- Cheddar and Olive Bites

Ingredients:
165g plain flour
1/2 tsp salt
85g butter, cold diced
200g mature grated cheddar
190g jar of pitted olives in oil, drained (drained weight 110g)
2 egg yolks, large
Makes: 40 approx.
6 – Three Cheese Souffle
Have you ever made a souffle? They’re a pretty retro dish that’s often overlooked and these 3 cheese souffles are truly delicious. You can make them now, literally today and put them in the freezer and just defrost when you want them, we all love a bit of a get ahead bake (and they’re really not so difficult to do either)
Ingredients:
50g butter
20g plain flour
300ml milk
4 eggs, large
50g gruyere cheese, finely grated
50g mature cheddar cheese, finely grated
50g parmesan, finely grated
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
Salt and pepper, to season
A little extra melted butter to grease the dishes.

The Great British Bake Off with Stork
Summer holidays is always bedlam in our house, but it does always mean the start of a new series of The Great British Bake Off – and that’s definitely a reason to be happy!

Cheese & Onion Pie
This has to be one of the very best things to come out of my kitchen – you may have to save me from a Cheese & Onion pie addiction!
I have a great friend, Dor who shared a Cheese & Onion pie with a great group of ladies recently and I have dreamt about it ever since, plus with Father’s Day approaching and knowing my Dad loves this pie as much as I do I knew I had to give it a go.
Baked Camembert

Day 7 – Christmas Quiche
Here’s a special something for your buffet table this Christmas – a thoroughly festive Christmas Quiche! Spinach, feta, pine nuts and juicy cranberries made with Wright’s Sungold pastry flour a slice of this is just delicious!
Ingredients:
Pastry
225g Wright’s Sungold Pastry Flour
100g butter, cold diced
1 egg, large
1-3tbps cold water
Filling
100g spinach
80g feta cheese
1 tbsp pine nuts
2 tbsps fresh cranberries
120ml milk
120ml double cream
2 eggs, large
2 egg yolks
1 tbsp Dijon mustard
Salt and pepper
