Princess Castle Cake and more…
My kitchen is still a building site and the oven is now very much out of action! I promise I’ll share some pictures of my much improved gigantic space soon but in the meantime here are a couple more projects for Bake with Stork that might just take your fancy…
I bet you’d know someone who would love this!
#BakeSomeoneHappy this Easter with Stork!
Stork are launching a campaign to get the country baking for Easter and raise support for Great Ormond Street Hospital – I know you guys need no encouragement to bake so how about rustling up some Easter Nest Cupcakes and #BakeSomeoneHappy!
Red Nose Red Velvet Cupcakes
If you’re still looking for something to bake for Red Nose Day this Friday then I have another fun and easy bake up my sleeve for you!
My Red Nose Red Velvet Cupcakes for Stork
You can get the recipe here including my usual step by step photos.
Self Saucing Chocolate Pudding
What could be better than a chocolate pudding with lashings of chocolate sauce? Well in my book, not too much! To add to the fact that this choc pud is just fantastic you can whip it up and have it in the oven in 10 minutes flat, it really is that easy.
Day 3 – Marshmallow Snowflakes
These seem to be all over the place in the shops at Christmas time so I thought it was time I figured out how we do them at home – and it’s easier than I thought. You will need a sugar thermometer and a silicone snowflake mould (or any other kind of Christmassy silicone mould if you prefer)
They are easier to make in a stand mixer if you have one, it makes the hands juggling a lot easier but it can be done with an electric hand mixer too.
Day 2 – Gingerbread Reindeer Barns
How much fun are these? When Lindt sent me a chocolate delivery (yes I know, that’s a great delivery to get) I knew I had to come up with something Christmassy – there was no way I was melting those Reindeer down for truffles!
Scotch Pancakes
Ooh hoo hoo! Tomorrow is Pancake Day! Always an event in our house, everyone wants a turn at flipping, tossing, pouring the batter, everyone ends up with a burn from the frying pan, tears as they’re not as good as flipping pancakes as they imagined in their head and arguments break out randomly in the frustration of having to wait in a queue of 5 for actually getting a pancake on their plate!
