How to make a Chocolate Collar
Making a chocolate collar for a cake is much easier than you’d think, its an impressive way to finish a spectacular cake. You can use your favourite chocolate white, milk or dark the method is exactly the same. So let’s get cracking!
Flapjack Bars
I know I’ve done flapjack before but this one is a bit different, its a thick buttery fudgy type bar flapjack, like you might pick up when you’re out and about. Great big slabs of flapjack with a good old layer of chocolate on the top.
Giant Cupcake Cookie Dough Bowl!
Who wants to dive in head first?
You don’t just have to bake cakes in the your Giant Cupcake Tin – time to get them out from languishing in the back of the cupboard and put them to some inventive uses.
Triple Chocolate Cookies
Up to my eyes in it! – Managing a gaggle of boys is tricky at the best of times and right now Dylan has broken his foot. It turns out there’s interesting times to be had when one boy is attached to a pair of crutches.
Churros & Chocolate Sauce
I’ve been meaning to make these for what seems like forever. The recipe for them is pretty standard whereever you look so there’s no tom foolery with the basics here. They’re easy to do, and I’ve added in my usual hints and tips (the bits the books leave out!)
Chocolate Chip Cookies
Another of our family favourites to share with you – the recipe that is, unfortunately there’s only crumbs left in the tin here!
These chocolate chip cookies are chewy, oaty and soft in the middle. I can promise you one is never enough.
Chocolate Orange Cake
This is a really unassuming cake, looks like nothing but tastes amazing.
It’s not often my boys ask me to make something in particular but the other half will beg for this cake. I see some bribery tactics up my sleeve….
