Grandma’s Christmas Pudding
Okay, so here goes… I’ve never made a Christmas pudding before, quite frankly my Grandma makes the best puds in the stratosphere and the thought of a pressure cooker (and having to chisel pudding from my kitchen ceiling) fills me with dread!
Peach and Blueberry Boy Bait
Guaranteed to catch boys, men, whatever you’re after catching!
Ingredients:
Cake
230g butter
250g plain flour
100g caster sugar
165g soft brown sugar
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
3 large eggs, separated
240ml whole milk
225g fresh blueberries
1 x 225g tin of sliced peaches, drained weight
Jam
210g fresh blueberries
1 x 225g tin of sliced peaches, drained weight
65g caster sugar
1 ½ tbsp plain flour
1 ½ tsp lemon juice
Crumble
110g self raising flour
70g butter
85g brown sugar
½ tsp cinnamon
2 tbsp Demerara sugar
Preheat the oven to 180c/160c Fan/ Gas Mark 4.
Chocolate Pudding Teacups
Okay, I admit it, I’m obsessed with vintage teacups! For some girls its shoes, handbags but of late for me its lovely pretty little tea sets. I can’t pass the charity shop and leave a set looking lonely and forlorn in the window and although I drink a lot of tea I’m more of a mug kind of girl.
Bread & Butter Pudding Cupcakes

Ingredients:
100g Caster Sugar
40g Plain Flour
100g Unsalted Butter (melted)
300g Bread (cut into bitesize cubes)
225ml Double Cream
225ml Milk
4 Eggs (Beaten)
2 tsp Vanilla Extract
1 ½ tbsp Baking Powder
Grated Zest of one Lemon
½ tsp Salt
½ tsp Ground Cinnamon
80g Raisins
1 Apple (peeled and diced)
Icing Sugar to dust
Preheat oven to 180c/160c Fan/350F/Gas Mark 4.
